Ethem has worked for the Islamic banking sector for 10 years in different roles in Banking Information technologies. After 2 years of digital advertisement experience, he followed his passion for software development and started to work for one of the Biggest Islamic banks in Türkiye as a Software Developer. Ethem enriched his career with different roles as IT System Analyst, Core Banking System designer, Product Owner, Team Leader, Project Manager, and Head of IT. Being part of a 12-member team who set up the end-to-end IT of the first government Islamic bank in Türkiye is one of the main experiences he is proud of. Now he enjoys the start-up experience in Türkiye as a Head of Growth in an Islamic fintech named IFIN with a local brand IFIN ŞimdiFinans. His aim is to contribute to Islamic finance by digitalizing tools and processes and enlarging the use of Islamic finance throughout the county and globally with a smooth and instant customer experience.
